Our Christmas With Them!

Since this was the first Christmas for the kittens and for several of the older cats, I took a lot of photographs. It was hard to get them all in the living room together. Ava and the kittens were so excited that they would follow D when he went in the office to bring out Max and Arby--and follow me into the kitchen to check on the foods. We finally gave up trying to get them all out there at once and just let them start opening stockings. D and I laughed and chuckled over their antics yesterday morning.

This is the stocking D found at the last moment--we put the ferals' toys and goodies in it.

Waiting for Dad to come out so Christmas--whatever that is--can get started!

Stockings! Ok--we have them now what do we do with them???

Merlin discovered the joy of stockings!

  So did Harley.

But Lacey and Tilly preferred something else. Something with more rattle and more adventure!

Chile and her Christmas loot! Is that smug or what?

Max is thinking he likes Christmas!

Arby just enjoys the tree Christmas Morning.

Harley shows he can smile like his granddad Merlin!

A special guest for the holiday dinner--Mrs. C!
Lacey makes her feel extra special!

I hope your day was extra special and very merry!  What are your plans for today? Are you going to travel to see friends and family? Are you going to plunge into that exercise routine to burn off all those holiday calories? Or are you going to sit back and relax today? Or are you like me--having to think about work already???

  1. Today it is Boxing Day in N Ireland. Having a quiet day at home as husband is on call and kids just want to play with their new gifts.

Your cats certainly got into the spirit of things!

  3. Looks like Santa was good to the kitties! And isn't the box always more interesting than the gift? Today I'm cleaning up and also plan to do some beading. I'd really like to build up my inventory to more than 19 or 20 items. Enjoy your day!

  4. What great photos of your kitties! Looks like they really got into the spirit of the day. Didn't plan to get out today due to road conditions but my husband just came in and said he thinks we might be able to get out a little later and drive into town. We'll see. I'd rather not risk the possibility of slipping off into a ditch. Wishing you many, many blessings in the new year.

  5. Oh, I love the kitty photos. Following your blog makes it so hard not to get another kitty. It makes me miss having one, or two or three. Mrs. C looks so sweet. Like the neighbor everyone would love to have. I'm glad you had such a wonderful day.

Today I am trying to figure out what I want to do for the next three days. I started a list, but haven't started on it yet. I'm just still enjoying the holiday aftermath! :)

Today, I have cleaned up some of the mess... Thinking of playing with clay or should I nap? Hmmmm

  7. Oh how I adore Harley's smile, looks like he was very pleased with his Christmas stocking.
The photos of all the kitties are wonderful. They seem to be just like children, first waiting for the moment and then discovering their presents. Of course there are those youngsters that prefer to play with the wrapping paper, boxes and ribbons, just like Lacey and Tilly. LOL
