Bring it on DOS!

Yes I've already posted today. No, I'm not going to come up with 2010 individual posts to celebrate the new year or the new decade. Yes, I need to give you something. No, it's not a million dollars--I wish it were though. It would make life so much better for everyone if I could just give cash to everyone. But that's wishful dreaming.

I'm rambling...it's because my brain is half on this post, one quarter on the green chile turkey enchiladas I have to make and a quarter off in a place no one wants to visit. Even me sometimes.

Here it is...The last bead project of 2009! My girlfriend wanted genie bottle style earrings. She told me about these cute earrings on December 30th and the next day--they were created.

And here is the very first beading project ofr 2010! My sister-in-law J and my niece LK have birthdays coming up in the first week of the new year. I made this for my sister-in-law.

I combined both Terri Stone's and Mary Ellen's beads for this ensemble.

Finally--my very first new 2010 earrings! I couldn't go into this new year without new earrings to dangle from my lobes.  It's my firm belief that women cannot have too many earrings. Never. It just isn't possible.

The earrings on the left hold turquoise and navy blue fire fly beads that's like Gretchen Lima's. trademark.
The flower buds came from an artist I found--Chris Dembinski and I found her at ArtFire.
She also has an Etsy store!

  1. I still have my decorations up. I think my husband wants to wait until our son comes home, oh well. Regarding my snowman decoration, I'm not that talented to make it but I did buy it from a craft fair so I'm pretty sure it's homemade. Those are lovely beaded jewelry.

  2. My goodness you are one busy lady! It's all wonderful. Your friends and relatives are very lucky indeed! Enjoy the rest of the evening. Dinner and a movie here and I'm really not sure if I'll be able to stay awake for it tonight. That 1:00 a.m. stuff did me in last night and I can barely hold my eyes open now and it's 5:30!!

  4. You're certainly fast at beading! I don't really know anything about the art but my goodness, to turn all those lovely pieces out in just one day!
