Harbingers

Whew! Between my classes and traveling to the different Bead Soup Parties, I'm feeling a bit worn out.The Party is full of very creative and very artistic talents and I've enjoyed my time with every one. My beading partner Elizabeth did a fanstastic job on the beads I sent her--I'm both humbled and in awe of her talent! I'm very much looking forward to the next party!

I know most of us are really getting tired of pictures like these:
 Snow falling and winter storms,
Freezing fogs and...
Ice...

But yesterday I saw this....
Daffodil shoots

Tulips!

Spring is on its way!

  3. At least somewhere there's signs of spring. I know it's gonna be here before we know it ;-)

  4. Oh please keep showing me photos of the flowers coming up....it is so far from Spring here. I told Irv we have to go to the Flower and Garden show next month just to see some flowers!

My sister just texted me. She lives in SC and is getting 3-5 inches of snow. She is NOT amused! :)

  5. OMG Cathryn, you are too kind. How nice your friends are. My goal within the next 6 months is to get my Etsy open and running. I have a ton of stuff to sell, so from your lips to God's ear, maybe I can make it happen.

Anyway, your comments have made my week. The day job is a struggle right now in terms of weirdness, so I really needed an uplift. You and the Bead Soup Party lifted my spirits greatly.

I'll be in touch for sure!

  6. I am sorry Cathryn, but you post made me laugh so hard. On the first picture, I though you plugged cucumbers in the ground. I am still giggling about this idea. If spring does not come to me soon, I will plug some cucumbers in. (Remember I am the weird person from Germany, and our first flower look very much different). Thanks for the laugh.
